Good stuff man, very likely that's the source of your issue. Please keep us updated when the new rocker arms come in, fingers crossed for you!

Alright everyone got an update for the thread here.

So I got a new spring and valve stem cap installed. Took a while to get back to the truck and put the top end back together but I wrapped that up yesterday.

I wanted to swap the drain plug out for a magnetic one so the old valve cap could bind to it as the oil circulates and I could remove it next oil change. Well the threads in my pan were apparently on their way out and I wrecked em completely with the new plug so I had to get another oil pan. Lucky me $160 for that.

replaced the oil pan and found the valve cap in the old one so my hunch that it had fallen down there was right. After that I refilled the oil and fired her up. Now she’s running like a champ no misfire and plenty of power. Hell yeah. $20 top end fix. Rounded up to $200 total repair because of the stupid oil pan.

Now to do smog and trace some electrical gremlins.
