Rear axel seal? Wheel cylinder? Brake line?

    Pull the wheel and look!

No brake fluid loss in the master cylinder? If not, looks like an axle seal blew probably. I went through this myself... Check the axle breather to make sure it's not clogged. You're going to want to replace the wheel bearing too since it's been soaked in gear oil. The bearing has to be pressed on, a machine shop can do that if you don't have the correct tools.

    Here's the parts I used.

    90363-40068 - Wheel Bearing
    90313-54001 - Outer axle seal
    90301-88077 - Axle housing O-Ring
    90310-50006 - Inner axle seal

This is the axle breather, twist it around and make sure there is no crud in there.

If it’s the left rear wheel cylinder, the part number should be 47570-06051 for around $76+.

If the axle breather is clogged and the axle heats up from driving, the axle will try to breathe through the path of least resistance, which is the axle seals.

My guess is axle seal. Need a press to replace. Recommend relocate the breather into your left taillight housing easy to do with nipple, hose and breather or can buy a kit for this.

I had this happen to me too, I don't know why people are talking about presses and bearings, its just a normal oil seal. No big deal to replace.

You probably do want to do a brake job though while you're at it if any of the oil got on your brake pads.

Take pics of the carnage if you can once the brake drum is off.
