This bums me out. This is not a uncivilized conversation. At some point by opinion everything is political. Guess we just have to find out if we are in the grey area or the black. Your guess is as good as mine.

 

Guess it helps that most of us don’t disagree on much or we have the upmost respect for this forum that we don’t say enough to find reason to disagree. That says something in my book.

 

When I was new here I posted a meme and it was taken down and I was told no political stuff. It had a specific side mentioned. Generic comments about gun laws are likely ok, but if you get into calling out parties, directions from center, and the like, that is when it'll get you in trouble.

 

I think most of us are adult enough to disagree politely. I mean, I think beer sucks and @Azblue hasn't ignored me yet.

I'm simply referring to something that makes no sense to me, like rosters for handguns. They all function relatively the same, but you can't own one from certain manufacturers?

Agreed… There's really nothing wrong w/saying that something doesn't make sense. Example: For the longest time handguns were considered to be the biggest "threat" due to their conceal-ability… Had to wait to own, had to register, regulations on how to carry in your vehicle, etc… Now apparently no one worries about hand guns; and the new flavor of the month is the dreaded assault looking rifle.

If it's not guns it would be knives; if it's not knives it's hammers; if it's not hammers it's vehicles… It's always something and at the root of it, is human beings who have ill intentions; it's really that simple!!!

Yup. No candidates allowed. People get it for memes that aren't political, but have political figures. Easy enough to avoid once I know where the line is.
