The screws for the cover on my Third Brake light assembly doesn't seem to be tightening up like they used to. I'm thinking that the holes may be stripped.

I've had to open the cover 100 times to replace the VLEDs bulbs that I have in there. They keep going out and VLEDs keeps saying they know of the issue.

Is there any way to fix this without having to change out the whole assembly? Which I do not want to do. A couple of the screws are barely in there.

How many screws are there? I thought they only came with 2.

Find some screws the same length that are a tad thicker and paint them black.
For example like from a 6 to an 8..

Yeah I may try that. It's not grabbing towards the end so wasn't sure if that would help. I'm going to wait until I get the new bulbs then try it. Thanks!

Or try the old guitar repair stripped screw method of inserting a toothpick in the hole..:p
I've done that on many a household project over the years.
The toothpick gives the screw something to bite into..

    Does Loctite work on plastic?

Fill the holes with a hot glue gun, when it dries screw in screws.

I've done the toothpick thing with my door frame and the screws.

Will I be able to pull the screws out later if a bulb goes out?
