    No, ginger beer (nonalcoholic) is not ginger ale, but after tasting good ginger beer, the only way I can truly enjoy ginger ale is to add some pieces of dried ginger to the glass before pouring, then letting it soak a bit. The bonus is that you get really good tasting pieces of ginger after drinking the liquid.

    Ginger beer is a brewed drink, but non-alcoholic. Since they use the ginger root to brew it, it has a powerful ginger flavor. Ginger ale is usually flavored soda water with sugar.
