It's everywhere. I was begining my Lux rock lights install last night, and saw the coating oozing out of the headlight seems. I really hope it doesn't degrade plastic, acrylic or hoses.

That's a bit disappointing. Fingers crossed it's just messy, and not an actual issue.

Finished her off. Pinch weld mod. Couldn't heat form the liner well enough, afraid it would just rip the whole thing out at tuck...so chalk tested and cut it. Tucked now.

Very nice! Did you paint those center caps yourself? Or did you purchase those center caps?

I bought these a few weeks ago off a guy from the forum/tundra fb page who got them for his wife's land cruiser but ended up going another route. He bought them from a guy that had refinished them. Just rattle can black with decals I believe.

I "washed" it for the first time in a very long time. We are installing a few things tomorrow and working on a clean truck is always nice.

Wanted the ability to watch fuel pressure, but there is no way to monitor through OBD port. Have to disconnect fuel line and hook up a test gauge. I added a URD fuel rail tap and had a gauge on it under the hood, but not much help watching fuel pressure while driving so added a fuel pressure gauge on the a pillar.

I’ve seen a lot of the tail gate letters in black so I thought I’d try something a little different.

I cleaned and conditioned my leather interior for the first time. The center console arm rest was pretty gross when I cleaned it. It didn't look that dirty until the cleaner turned dark brown. Ick.

    Alot of them
Started the bracket mod and install of my new to me UnderCover Swing cases. Tomorrow I will debur the cuts and hit them with some Raptor liner. I found them on CL and he wanted $50.00 for the pair. He was a firefighter and a pretty cool guy and I felt it was a good deal so I actually gave him $80.00. I removed the stickers and will make some decals for them.

Over the past few days trying to find the source of a small popping sound I was getting during slow maneuvering (parking) or when truck was on an angle, to me it sounded like it was in the rear of the truck:

    • Tightened spare tire
    • Reinstalled tonneau to roll it up to make sure the tie-down straps for it aren't banging around
    • Tightened every bolt on my RCI engine skid, Valhalla front and rear cat plates, Victory 4x4 LCA skid, and RCI rear diff skid
    • Greased rear driveshaft

I'm pretty sure it was the rear of the engine skid/front of the front cat skid being loose that was causing the noise (and after searching seeing it is a common problem with the TRD skid). I didn't hear it at all yesterday. One thing to note is I have the nut plate for the Valhalla front cat plate, since it's just nuts welded to bar stock they are not lock nuts, I think that is why they loosened up so much (I probably got a full rotation out of each). I don't quite want to put loctite on it so it might just be something I check every once in a while.

I’ve had the same sound since I installed my TRD skid plate. It only happens when truck has been sitting and the I begin to roll and make slow turning maneuvers.

Yep sounds the same! Try tightening up the bolts and hopefully should go away. I also read some people put some sort of rubber or gasket material between the frame and plate and that helped too.

Thanks, I’ll have to try that. I have a 4/2 spacer kit on mine and I had checked UCAs, CV axles, the spacers and all other suspension components. After eliminating those I wasn’t as worried.

Brackets look good! They should have came like that, or a similar use-ability, from the company.
