Quick question here. Is there suppose to be play in them ? I measured about a 2mm diameter variance between the bolt circumference and hole in the mount itself that allows it to wobble. Concerned some since the install instructions said tightened fully so it doesn't move and possibly damage the bushing and or mount itself with any play from not tightening. Sharing pics below to show the gap I'm referring too.

 

The "play" is normal and is how every kit has been built since day one. If the bolt to sleeve to mount tab hole were all exact, there would be a high probability of none of these mounts fitting anything except a brand new, never offroaded truck and even that would be dependent on factory high/low assembly line tolerances.

Remember the OE mount is a flexy puck with a peg sticking out, you can manipulate it any way you want to line up holes. These, not so much and its also the reason I slotted the frame perch holes for easier install. If all the bolts remain tight, you will have zero issues with normal off road driving.

 

More kits shipping out today, yesterday was a federal holiday so I couldn't ship anything.

Follow the install instructions tips, use loctite as described, and perform regular prep checks as with any aftermarket component and you'll be gtg!

 

Was wondering if my red ones shipped . Getting nippy.

 

Last 2 sets are red, paint is drying. Wanted to ship Saturday but didn't get more red paint delivered till Saturday. Both kits will ship asap!

The GB happened right around the same time the website launched so I was just overwhelmed with orders. Did not expect the website to generate that much business that fast. I made a post about this in the general 2nd Gen Forum, (and 2.5 Gen Forum) yesterday, saw it post, and received notifications of replies but when I went to check them, they were deleted. Not sure why.

This is a great opportunity to pick up a set of these at a good discount before I am possibly forced to raise my prices next year as my suppliers have been constantly raising theirs and the current economic inflation is just driving up the costs of raw materials non stop. No trans mount yet. Its been a hassle like I never realized. My laser cutter being in another state hasn't helped the design process & communication. But it will be a major priority in the new year.

 

I am waiting for the tranny mount to buy my 5.7 motor mount and the tranny mount. May as well do them at the same time
