A build for speed and handling, I know it sounds crazy.

I just want to say thank you for putting the body kit on and not running it with the wheels/tires sticking out. Looks good.

Just curious... was there a lot of cutting involved with that setup? And what's your verdict on the supercharger... Worth it or nah?

 

No cutting at all, the Supercharger is well worth it!

The truck received a bigger fuel pump this week VPN-F90000274, and an external fuel filter. This should keep me from running lean under WOT.

Are you leaning out with stock pulley? or are you running smaller one?

 

I have the URD pulley, it was leaning out, all good now. I believe that the trucks run lean even with the stock pulley.

 

What did the fueling updates cost ya?! Sharp truck...not just show and no go...well done!

Installed some LED tail lamps today, loved my old set up but they were way too dark at night.

Curious, were you running LED's in the Smoked Spyder tails? I've really been debating on getting these, but some of the photos, they looks WAY to dark. However, this photo they look less dark that other photos I've seen. Do you have any other photos in different lighting conditions?

 

No, just regular bulbs, they are very dark at night.

 

Hello all!! It's been a few months with the new fuel system and Viktor G tune, about 500 miles. The truck is pulling harder than ever, it took down a 392 Challenger on the highway from 60mph. I will get some videos soon. Next step is the diff and engine build before I add any more power.

I can't tell you how many times I come back to your build - I've always loved sport/street trucks and always wanted an x-runner, but this takes it all. I wonder if they wifey will let me sell the bikes and get a second tundra

btw - I posted this in suspension, but is there a reason that the TRD suspension you have doesn't work with 4x4? I'm assuming it's too low for the front dif?

 

Thank you. I believe the front would be too low for 4wd, but I'm not 100 percent positive on this. Victor G would know better about this.

 

It depends on how, and how much it is lowered. I'm running the SOS 2/4" drop on a 4x4 crewmax. No issues while in 4x4 mode. 2" drop is considered to be the lowest you'd want to drop it while still have it function correctly

 

I'm installing 750cc injectors and a 2.3 pulley. I'm looking at LSD systems now, I may do it all at the same time. Schedule for a new tune on 11/11.

 

I didn't see, but did you end up replacing the rear dif? too, are you changing the final gear?

 

Has the stock rear now, going to a LSD to help keep the power on the ground.

 

I'm installing a RCF throttle body with the 750cc injectors, a pro speed intake and the 2.3 Pulley. Everything should be here by next week and tuning in two weeks.
