Coming back from TX yesterday and hit a deer. I'm a recent Coloradan (since 2019) and haven't needed a body shop yet. Can anyone who knows the area recommend a body shop?

I think it's plastic on the TRD Pro at least.

You know if they would put a decent bumper on these things you may not have had any damage from that hit.

I'm going through the same thing with my 2019. Deer ran out in front of me doing 80kph. Just waiting for the insurance estimate to see what will be replaced. I know the body shop will find more once they open it up.

I'll be going aftermarket, steel bumper if my bumper is claimed or even if a portion is claimed and I have to pay the difference.

The painted bumpers are plastic. The metal ones are only chrome and I believe a flat black on the work grade tundra. I have a SX which came with front and back color matched plastic bumpers.

My hunting buddy hit one last year at around 70mph. Wasted everything below the hood. I think the hood was ok. He fixed everything himself with bolt on parts. Got good deals on the grill and surround, replaced bumper with a steel one. Did everything for what the insurance paid him and replaced the back bumper with a steel one as well.

    I'm a fan of KO2's for summer/winter mountain driving.

That sucks. I came real close to tagging one last week. Would have been my 6th or 7th deer hit. Way too many deer around here. I'm starting to look at them as large vermin.

Last time I hit one I totaled the Impreza I was driving and needed stitches in my hand.

I’ve had good luck with Caliber Collision. They have many locations. I had to use them 2-3 times and everything always came out well.

I have also had good experiences with Caliber Collision. If you want an independent shop, Hopp's Auto Body on Hampden Ave are good to go in my book.

Just like new. They had to replace the headlight, foglight, grill, bumper corner, & valance panel. The bumper corner and valance panel had to be painted. The new grill/surround came factory painted.

Appreciate the thoughts. I first asked all the Toyota dealers who they use and got nothing. I then asked the Lexus dealers and kept hearing about Master Collision Specialists in Denver. The owner of the shop is 70+ years old and has been doing body repair since his military days. Small family business and very cool.
