I have three red 4 piston TRD calipers, two right and one left. 140mm center to center mount spread. The only number on these is faded but looks like 2066 or 2266. Any help is appreciated.20221016_165259.jpg

I also have this caliper and I think it's a front right big brake upgrade for a Tundra but not 100% positive. Center to center mount is 190mm. 2068 is stamped on it.

Those might be a different version of the 1st gens BBK

Stoptech ST40 4 pistons. I don’t know the measurements of the ear off hand. But mine are mounted with a removable bracket. The first photo another member posted a few days ago of his kit. I have no further info other than it’s a different casting than mine. Likely newer. Potentially identical to what you’ve got

Thanks for your help. I'd like to sell these but I've looked everywhere and the 3 have been a mystery to find. At least with Brembos there's always casting numbers everywhere and this just has some faded stamped number near the top in a very awkward position to see.

yea the TRD calipers are long lost to time for the 1st gens.. its just a guess based off photos. but they could be from something else.

how did you acquire them? theres a slim chance they're from the recalled scion TC kit. if thats the case. i'd be interested! lol

based off the video i rekon those are TC calipers. technically not suppose to be out in the wild. been a while. but when they had us removing them, they were on top of getting those back.

From a safety standpoint the calipers are fine though?

the issue was with the line i believe. i'd have to look up the recall again. cant remember if it was the metal line on the outside of the caliper or the flexible line

Thanks for helping me solve this. Aside from faulty brake lines, they seem to be in good order. I wonder how many actually leaked. The guy on the video says there are lots of kits for sale for cheap so I guess these aren't worth much.

i've personally never seen a set for sale around here. maybe out west. i had to remove 2 kits when the recall was new.
