Im about to install TRD PRO LED headlights and the black bezel OEM fogs. I will have the iHacker Harness with the non dimming option (DRLs will be bright all the time with ignition on). Is there an option to be able to turn on the Fogs without the headlights on? (just DRLs and Fogs)
I dont want the fogs to be on all the time, just be able to turn them on and off independent of the headlight. Just curious. If its a detailed mod requiring lots of wiring I probably would not attempt anyway. thanks.

    Alot of them
There is an anytime fog light mod for the older trucks. I will caution you on the non-dimming DRL's. It is a DOT requirement that the DRL dim to 50% when the headlights are on.

I just installed the headlights and fogs this weekend. for now im just using the factory setting of using the fogs when the lights are on, not the DRLs. Maybe my next research will be to see what all is involved with the amber DRL delete.

I have the same set up and the fogs will come on independent of the headlights. What is the dimming option of the hacker harness? Is there an option to make the drl turn off when the turn signal is activated?

So my 2017 did not come with LED headlights. Halogen lo-hi beams with the amber DRLs. In order to upgrade to the TRD PRO LED style headlight, you need a wire harness (iHacker). He offers 2 styles for my truck. Dimming and non dimming. The dimming option allows the new headlight to function like the newer model trucks from the factory (when the headlights are turned on, the LED DRL dims to a certain %). Ive learned this is a DOT regulation. This harness is a bit more invasive as you will have to run through the firewall and do some connections under the dash. iHacker informs that the non dimming option is for those with less wiring skills. Thats what I chose. more of a plug n play. My LED DRLS come on bright at all times the ignition is on. no dimming with the headlights, etc. no wires through the firewall, etc. There is a DRL delete option that will eliminate the amber light from being illuminated with the LED DRL. The turn signal is something different, the same amber light would work as the turn signal to my knowledge. Hope this helps. by no means am I an expert, just did my research before my mod headlights and fogs install. also. my fogs only will come on with the headlights turned on (lo or hi) but I cannot run fogs and DRLs. another user told me about a brite box that would allow it, just have not done it. check out this thread if you have not already.

My DRLs don't dim when my HLs are on but I usually run my bumper cubes for lighting unless it's pitch black lol

There is another option for the @iHacker harness.
It involves not using the bright white strips of the LED headlights at all.
    On my 2014 SR5;
I like the amber DRLs, I don't care for the bright white strips in the daytime.
I asked him about retaining them for daytime and having the dim white strips come on with the parking and/or headlights.
He sold me a harness that required no extra wiring or repinning for any connectors.
    It was literally plug-and-play.

As to the anytime fog lights, I did this mod years ago.
DIY: Fog Light Mod | Toyota Tundra Forum (tundras.com)
Parking lights off/DRLs on = no fog lights
Parking lights on = fog lights on if switch is turned on
Headlights on = fog lights on if switch is turned on
High Beams on = fog lights on if switch is turned on
