    A fab shop posted this work. It's on a 2007 F150.

Maybe all they had was coils for a lowered Corolla and they're trying to be thrifty

Well, without knowing the spring rate, you cannot tell how much preload is actually on this coilover.

But yes, there is a lot of thread showing and looks to be running too short of a spring and this spring will likely go into coil bind. Maybe just for looks only :notsure:

    So, it’s one-upped a 2019+ Tundra? Lol.

That is not what I’d like to think is going to pass QC…

Its a 6 inch lifted truck. Thats why there are so many inches of thread above the collar

    I’m confused a bit here.

That looks like IFS with a huge bracket lift. If that’s the case I think y’all are wrong. Think regular bracket lift with spacers on top, only they built the spacer into the coilover. Probably has stock travel, etc just like any tundra with a bracket lift. That being said the fab work looks like I did it.

Na, stock travel would be way back at only 2" of thread showing. This basically has zero travel

Looks like they got the wrong sized coil on it, but look at that drop bracket! Terrible looking welds, flaking powder coat covered in spray can undercoat. That coil over is the least of his worries.

Guy drives a rusty 6" lifted 2007 F150 and brings in ebay coilovers to the suspension shop. I probably wouldnt argue either and just install them and push it out the door.

Why they posted pictures of this work is what confuses me. Maybe the office girl running the facespace page didnt get the memo not to share that one.
