WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR 3RD GEN TUNDRA TODAY?

Installed the Dashcam, Console Safe, and Talons Cat protection plate in the driveway today

 

I did, it's a bit of a puzzle figuring out where they all fit. I think there's extras due to Crew Max and Double cab configurations. The one for the cell phone area doesn't fit well and there wasn't a piece for the tray area above the glove box. But all other pieces fit well.

 

Ah! That helps, I have the DC so don't have those back door pockets. When all else fails read the instructions.

 

It was the last picture on the item page on Amazon, I screenshot it so I wouldn’t have the same issues when they show up tomorrow

I did too. I have the double cab and I have 9 pieces that didn’t fit. Plus, it doesn’t come with the piece to cover the area above the glove box.
Lastly, the pieces that sit in the armrest fall out when you open it and I’ll have to look for some double sided tape. Not really a well baked solution.

I just put them in today. Looks good.

Will have to find a way to hold the middle console ones on as I open the lid fairly often.

 

Installed Charvonia Designs tie down hooks. I chose the blue to somewhat match the Blueprint exterior.

The original tiedowns were starting to rust and I had a similar issue on my old Tacoma.

• Removed rear chrome plastic mirrors from the bumper- will be plasti-dipping this week.
• Installed Tufskinz tailgate TUNDRA inserts. These are great quality and are slightly raised for a great contrast.
• De-installed the lower chrome door trim/1794 badge a few days back. My initial thought was to trash them, but I've cut the 1794 free of the chrome strip and will try to plasti-dip matte as well.
• Windows all around were tinted this week in ceramic, which absolutely changes the look instantly.
• 

TRD PRO Heritage grill, lower TUNDRA front bumper, and matte tailgate handle all arriving Tuesday!

 

How difficult was it to pop out the chrome bumper plates?

 

Put the 1” cornfed spacer up front. Anything more than inch and I would have gone with a full suspension set up. Think it turned out good and drives actually a bit better than stock.

Not bad. The left side was easier than the right.. I'd recommend some trim removal tools vs the flat pry bar I used. I did end up breaking one clip on the right side but I don't think it'll be an issue. Overall, it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

1794 long badges are not a good thing to Plasti dip, I tried it and it eventually found a set of
Take off platinum badges and put the 1794 badges into them, much cleaner and no issues with the dip fading, grabbing lint, etc

 

Been using this bike rack lately....really like it. Some smart tails have decided to throw in the unnecessary comment of, "that's what the bed is for." Thanks Sherlock, but I like to still USE my bed while hauling bikes smh.

Just got some BFG KO2s in 275/65r20. Had to persuade the wife for some time. Also had the 5k service done on the truck. Went ahead and did the oil change since we're towing the camper around the country. If you guys are ever un St George Utah and need to swing in a dealership, Stephen Wade Toyota is an awsome place! They were able to get me in while I went for a bike ride. Met one of the employees, Jessica that just purchased a new solar octane TRD PRO. She took the time to bullshit with for a bit. Definitely recommend this place. I'll post pics of the tires shortly.
