Everything I can think of on the light checks out...pulling amperage per the spec sheet, lighting up when i connect it direct to battery, continuity checks out. I'll wait for their response before doing much more with it.

I was going to get a baja s8 remember reading it was 4.1 amps per every so many inches (like 8 or 10 or something)...curious to know what the issue is.

Hey RainMan_PNW, Is the S8 working? if so it will be pulling right around 12amps. I would do a direct power test on the light and make sure it is working properly. I know the switch pro unit has 4, 30 amp connections, and all the rest are 17 amps so you should not have an issue running this light. If everything checks out on the light it's sounding like it's an issue with the switch pro unit. Here is a diagram of that unit. If the unit is still covered under warranty I would definitely reach out to them after doing some tests.
    Best,
    Brandon

This is the season for rust prevention in the salt belt country. I know, I need to get a proper respirator.
I did this two years ago before trucks first winter and the coating has been held up great for this past two years.

I think the worst is when you do something where you sweat. I can’t stand looking through a bunch of sweat soaked glasses.

I installed JBA Offroad UCA’s yesterday (173 ft-lbs is a beyatch!!), aligned today. Happy with results, but will keep the tires rotated every service visit, and watch the inner tire wear.

There was JUST enough room to get my torque wrench on the nut, I think the key was having the tire actually OFF when torqueing. According to JBA, with their special bushings, there is no need to have the wheel on the ground to torque. I triple checked because all I've ever read was that you should torque suspension components only after the full weight of the truck is on them.

    Two Questions:

What's your lift and tire size setup on this rig?
What did you paint your bumper corners with?

4A per 10” section from what I saw on their site.

    Yes
I tested direct to the battery and got 11.9A draw.
I’m seeing that number drop a little to closer to 11A if I run the light through any of the SP switches 1-4 with the engine OFF. Turn the engine ON and the draw jumps up to 12.5-13.5A and switches 1 and 4 trip immediately (even set to a 20A cutoff). Switches 2 and 3 seem to work, but if I set them to a 15A cutoff they also trip immediately.

I didn’t test on circuits 5-8 because I shouldn’t have to use a 30A circuit to fire a 12A light. I’ll continue to work with them to try to figure out what’s up…waiting to hear back from them after I sent them a more detailed version of this info.

I just spoke to someone who had a glitch in their switch pro. They'll be warranting it and mentioned there maybe a small bad batch of units.

Added the Prinsu grab handles to my rack today. Also bought a can of 6X3 Lunar rock spray paint. I'm considering painting them to match the truck, but I'll test the paint when it comes in.

    Not enough....
Nicely done! I've heard good things about that CRC spray. I am about to go get my fourth application of Krown at the Line-x facility in York. I have done DIY with Fluid film on all of my other cars every year, but just switched to PB Blaster Surface Shield since it seems to have pretty good reports so far. I soaked everything on my wife's '21 Forester yesterday and used 2 full cans.

I'm impressed you did your whole truck by hand lol. I don't mind doing my unibody cars with spray cans since it's not too bad to get the suspension and subframes, but there's too much frame on the Tundra for me to get in all the nooks and crannies lol
