When my first cats got stolen they unbolted my cat shield and left it on the ground under my truck and stole my cats. I gave that cat shield to my buddy because at the time you couldn’t get a cat shield.

got my new cats. My buddy had ordered a desert eagle off-road cat shield and gave it to me and I told him to keep mine.

Is there a rear shield that’s compatible with the desert eagle front shield? I saw a picture of what I THINK was the Valhalla rear bolted to a desert eagle front but I can’t be sure and it didn’t say.

Thanks and just fyi I searched but didn’t see anything pertaining to this exactly.

@Tundra234 also did this as well.

Yes this can be done. I did have to drill into the rear of the desert eagle cat shield as it shares the same mounting point on the frame for the “front” of the rear Valhalla shield.

    i hope this helps.

I did this over a year ago and had no issues since. I actually recently installed the oem Trd skid plate and had to use my angle grinder to cut out more of the desert eagle plate to mount the Trd skid.

Font CATs skid plate partially covers the leading or the front edge of the rear CATs and makes it harder to cut. They won't have a good angle to cut and they may move on ...
Also not sure how much the rear CATs are worth relative to the front.
    Does anyone know?
If it's way cheaper and harder to cut, they may move on.

Correct the front cat shield does partially cover the front flange of the rear cats creating a more difficult cut pattern for removal. But it is still accessible to a degree.

At the time of purchase, desert eagle shield was the only available protection. Valhalla was not yet producing/selling his product. I certainly would have gone “full Valhalla” had that been an option at the time.

i decided to add the rear cat shield after an attempt was made to REMOVE my existing cat shield to steal my cats.

I upgraded to security bolts and added the rear cat shield.

here’s a photo of my front shield hanging down. I only realized it after hearing grinding noises while on the freeway. The shield was scraping and bouncing off the asphalt.

    Alot of them
Yes, I have the Valhalla rear plate attached to the Desert Eagle plate. I drilled extra holes that would prevent my rear plate from being removed via the cutouts. I also added 2 extra holes where the DE attached to the RCI skid plate. Essentially my front plate has 8 bolts, most of them being true security bolts from Screwd.

You are lucky you probably didn't do much in reverse otherwise it could have caused some major damage.

that’s actually the front portion of the shield handing down! The shield is a beast for sure and I’m fortunate it didn’t get caught on a pothole or anything.
