To the point, I'm looking for aluminum front bumper options for my 2018 Tundra. I live near and drive on the beach, so I'd like to avoid steel. I've only found the ICI and the Victory options. I know you guys scour the web and are privy to the nooks and crannies, so maybe you can tell me what else to look at.

For the details, I just installed the Toytec Boss Aluma Series at 3" and my 295/60/R20s are rubbing. I removed the mud flaps and took out the plastic behind the bumper ends and now just BARELY clear the back (frame) with the front tires at full lock, and I go full lock all the time backing in an 18' trailer through a tight corner. Hoping I wont have to do the frame chop, but first I want to get the front rub taken care of with the bumper. Thanks in advance.

I would not go with an aluminum bumper. I would go steel and have it Line-X'ed. As far as rubbing on the bumper, I would install the Coachbuilder bumper shims. Easy to install and will push it forward 1/2 inch.

It wouldn't have any significant strength like steel during an impact.....especially the way people drive these days.

I get your point, and agree about drivers out there, but the center of my bumper now is just plastic. I'm sure aluminum is stronger than that. I'm really concerned about rust and weight. Line-X is a great idea, but only makes the steel heavier.

If your clearance issue is on the backside, more positive caster will help this. Aftermarket UCAs can help with this. I have JBA UCAs and with +4° caster and heating and molding my rear mud flap, I clear most of the time. Still a little rub when articulating near the ends of the suspension limits. 285/75/18 on OE wheels.

Edit to add: I do like and agree with your logic behind an aluminum bumper. For the right application, I think it is a good material choice.

I have the SPC UCAs. Not sure where they're set. I removed the rear mud flaps and it looks like I MIGHT clear back there now. I heated the front plastic pieces and trying to reshape them now for an immediate fix. I don't want to mess up my brand new tires
