Hi Everyone. Close to ordering a '23 Tundra. Long time Taco guy. Problem is my house only has single car garage doors. I would really like to park the new addition in the garage but I think with normal mirrors extended (not tow mirrors) I'm exactly the same width as my garage door ~96". I'm not finding a width on the Toyota site for folded in mirror width. Anybody know what the dimension is with folded in side views?

Also, once the auto mirror are tilted in, can you still operate the vehicle without them folding back out? I'm thinking I could fold them in and then drive into the garage if the widths work out.

Thanks in advance. I appreciate the feedback.

Idk about the width, but yes, you can drive with them folded in. Accidentally did it after a trip to Sonic.

Yes. You can fold them at any time, even at highway speeds. I use them all the time in drive throughs. It's a nice switch with a positive click, not momentary like you see on some other cars.

Great feedback. I appreciate it. Do the cameras still work in the Panoramic view when mirrors are folded?

Yep. Cameras are unaffected. They are on the stalk, not the foldy part.

Can anyone tell me the total width of the Tundra with (1) standard OEM mirrors folded in and (2) Tow mirrors folded in? I'm also assessing garage fit. I've read 86" for standard-folded. Can't find info on tow-folded. Appreciate it.

I park mine in a 9’ wide single door garage with the mirrors open, it’s got a few inches on each side. Rough estimate width with folded mirrors is 88” and about 100” open i dont have a level with me.
