Ive ordered the black OEM LED fog lights to replace the stock halogens.
(ive also got the TRD PRO headlights ordered too)
I've seen most videos with removing of the wheel well liner to access the fog light from behind. Could you not just pop out the housing/bezel from the front?
seems like less work, just not sure if there is enough slack in wiring harness to allow it to remove forward...

    anyone have experiences to share?

    Yes, go from the front.

However, if you happen to have bumper covers, might not be possible and or a lot more difficult.

I am upgrading my stock headlights to the TRD PRO LED as well. wondering now if after removing the side panel underneath the headlights as required by that install, would the fogs be accessible from the top-down?

    I don't think so

at least not near as easy as popping them out from the front, or next difficult - or time consuming from the wheel area

I was able to pop off the housing easily from the front. Unfortunately , there isn't enough slack in the wiring to pull it through to make the switch. :-(

I got my new fogs and trd pro led headlights and waiting on the iHacker harness to deliver and hopefully will install everything this weekend. I will go for the headlights first. My plan is with the headlight and side front fender piece removed, see if the fog is accessible from top down. If not I'll probably go from front. My liner has those dumb push pin plastic locks with the little square in the middle that I will probably break so thats my last resort.

Update: I did the install today. @Taco-Spike was correct. Through the front was the way to go. Even with the headlights and side panels removed, not enough room to get to the mounting screw or harness from the top down. I popped out the housings from the front and had to release the wire harness holder to give me enough slack to unplug the light. The rest was easy from there. 35F055CD-C7F4-4A27-A2FB-166E6F0EA97E.jpg

I've got these same fogs and noticed they were shaking around a bit over sharp bumps. Not a big deal, just some flicker. Any way to tighten these up in the housing to stop that?

I’ve seen others that have zip tied the light itself from on the inside.

I recently swapped the oems out for Diode Dynamics Elite series. This video does a great job explaining how to access the fog light.

I used zip ties in various places to tighten it up a bit. I installed mine thru the wheel well so I had access to that way to use the zip ties.

Which ones, I've seen three different ones.

Chrome / Black and a reflector style that also fits ~ I think that one is from a Lexus but fits Tundras.

Thanks! Are the reflector style much better than non-reflector?
