On your pelican cases, can you open them from the outside of the truck? Can the case be installed for both inside or outside bed access?

Yes. They can be installed for both inside or outside bed access. You can install the case plate clamps to the backside of the box so you can mount the cargo case with the lip opening the other way and have access from the outside of the truck. I just mounted them the regular/standard way as I will be adding a bed rack with side panels.

There's plenty of space behind the bumper and front grill that mounting a winch isn't a huge issue. Also, if you get a Warn winch it comes with a wireless remote! Ha!

I'll take a picture of it tomorrow.

I contacted my friend James who owns Expedition One back in August about developing a new bed rack for the Gen 3 Tundra. I told him that I plan to use the BAK Revolver X4S tonneau cover and that he should design a bed rack around it. He agreed to design one so I got him the same BAK tonneau cover so he can get started on R&D.

A few weeks later I told James that I hate it when all the accessories are already hanging on the bed rack and I have to climb into the bed to access them. I suggested to have the side plates on hinges and struts so they can open up like "gull wings" to access the bed from outside the truck.

Well...here's the final product! He's going to debut the new rack in his booth in a few weeks at this year's SEMA Show. My truck will be there also showing off the same rack.

Pricing hasn't beed determined, but the product will be listed on the Expedition One online store for pre-orders in a few weeks. www.expeditiononestore.com

I'm so grateful to James and Expedition One for listening to and using my ideas and suggestions for this new bed rack for the Toyota Tundra.

Is Alea like Katzkin where they replace the entire seat upholstery? Or are they just a custom fit seat cover? They look great! I need to replace or cover my grey cloth seats but the 2k for katzkin is daunting.

Love the build man - I am going with something similar and looking at those icons but 18". How do you like the fitment and look with 25 offset?

The +25 is perfect. No rubbing whatsoever whether you're doing on paved road or off-road. The 0-offset does look slightly better, but you won't be disappointed with a +25. I avoid difficult off-road terrain if you're going to put a set of 0-offset and 37 inch tires. I hope that helps.

Hey, truck looks amazing. Are your wheels satin black or charcoal or did you have them painted? They look almost bronze in these pics. I have SSM and looking at these wheels. I like the charcoal but haven't found many good pics mounted of the Recon SLX in charcoal without the black lip on the Pro.

You think the 0 offset is ok if mostly a pavement queen with very little off road usage on 37's? As far as rubbing..... I dont do much off road and if i do its just light stuff
