The cat has taken over. Both dogs seem to have accepted her. Still keeping an eye on my poi dog.

 

Crazy little bastards just turned 10 Weeks old. They're quite the handful.

 

The grey one's face is so cute and expressive.

 

We found out at their first vet visit the black one we named Ruby, was actually a boy. So we now have two very crazy brothers. The shorthaired gray seems to be the Alpha amongst the two, the fluffy black, just fluffy and nuts.

 

They sound like fun.

 

Haven't had kittens for almost 17 years. We lost our English Bulldog and both our cats in a 13 Month period. Its never easy, but they definitely put a big smile on our faces.

 

You guys posting all these kittens are making me miss having a cat around. I'm a dog person, but cats are a different kind of friend.

 

We've always had cats and dogs together, even growing up we had at least one cat around. I think its a Yin & Yang thing.

 

Siggy Sauer Slurping away, I give her fresh filtered water twice a day. She makes cute slurping noises when drinking, I love her so much.

 

Our little lunatic brothers have been growing like weeds.

Thanks, I think I'm getting soft the older I get.

 

They have pills for that.

 

I have them, I use the remaining 3-7/8 hours as a pretty amazing way to read a book in bed.

 

Today we had to put down our beloved Onyx. Back in August she was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure. This morning she could no longer stand up or even reposition herself if uncomfortable. Sad day for us to be sure. She died in my arms with my wife right there with us. She left this world knowing she was loved her entire life. She will be missed but not forgotten. RIP Onyx!

 

I'm sorry. It's never easy losing a family member, but I'm glad you could be there for her. It's the best we can do.

So sorry for your loss, we lost our last one due to kidney failure as well.

 

Our little blue one seems to be stuck at 6 lbs. Still doesn't meow. She speaks to you in chirps.

 

It truly is the last act of love we can give our pets.

A little story. I named Onyx. She was all black. Onyx seemed appropriate. As she grew comfortable in her hew home with us and we got to know her better we learned that she was very vocal but did not meow. She would beep, squeak, bark, and grunt. No meow. Had I known this when I named her I would have named her "Modem" instead.

 

I named this one "Myshka" which is supposed to mean "Little Mouse" in Russian. This was before I knew she couldn't meow and only squeaked. At a little over a year and only 6 lbs, she's lived up to her name.

 

I'm sorry for your loss too. I think I recall reading something about that with the adorable kittens you recently adopted.

Last one - I just found her in the washing machine.

 

Thanks brother, after losing the last two only a few Month's apart, we swore we wouldn't do it again. But then we realized we still have lots of love to give before we also leave this place.
