What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I removed the Tundra and SR5 badges from my truck last weekend and today I went with a blackout V8 IForce badge. Blackout badge looks best on a white truck but it's alright on mine.

Let me know where/how you mount the control box as I will be getting the same winch in a couple months.

 

Seat Jackers are in, first impressions are good. Really surprised how much it changes the feel of the seat. Still working to dial in the position of the seat.

Love how the front of the seat now supports my legs! Just have to adjust to it being different from the last 4 years

 

Finished installing my SSO Hybrid bumper, Smitty X20 gen 3 winch, Baja Designs S8 30” light bar, and remote winch power switch.

This is a temporary mock up while I have the final version burned out on our plasma table tomorrow.




I’m trying to decide if I want to tie the winch controller light into the under hood light switch, or just remove the wiring for it altogether. I don’t really see any functional reason for it with my setup.

Got my lights installed today...might need a little adjusting, we'll see.

 

Husky floor mats came in. Less than 100$ shipped from Amazon.

 

Been shopping bumpers, and now this one's the front runner.

 

I like that those have more coverage than the factory ones. Guess I'll get this too lol

442 started out as a performance option on the Cutlass. It meant 4 barrel, 4 speed manual, dual exhaust. In '67 (I think), it became its own model, and you could order it with an automatic transmission. My family was WAAAAAY into GM muscle cars of the 1960s. I had a restored '70 442 in high school with a 455 rocket and an automatic transmission. My dad cosigned the loan, and I washed metric tons of dishes at a local restaurant to pay it off.

Most terrifying car I've ever driven to this day, and that includes a Ferrari 488 and a v12 Aston Martin. It was So. Fast. Just don't try to make any turns, lol.

well of course its more terrifying than a 488 since the 488 has so many damn safety computers and gadgets, etc. The 442 was a 5,000 lb hunk of metal with around 375 HP , crappy brakes and probably couldnt pull a .5G on the track lol.

(Oh and I had a 69 SS396 (450HP) which was a near identical car so I know how you felt)

 

Factory ones suck, especially if you deal with snow.

Went with the cheapies... Rough Country N3 3.5" coilovers. Actually had them on previously, but one leaked and RC sent me it out a fresh pair free (within 24 hours!), so went ahead and threw them on. Added the UCAs to get perfect alignment.

 

Hit all 7s coming home from the drag boat races last night.

 

My buddy built some steel cages around my cats. Yes, you can saw through these too but it takes more time which is not what a thief wants.
