What kind of a difference does this sound deadening make?

Glad you found one that worked better for ya. From what I saw online, the one you originally bought worked with ppl who installed the stick in their glove box. I guess Toyota makes extra stout glove boxes with infrared shielding lol

Used her. Picked up a new to us couch from a family friend, took our old one to the dump, and cut up two 40 ft felled trees and hauled home for splitting later. Will be the last week of these almost dead 35s....37s go on next week.

Maintenance day. Front, rear diffs and transfer case, and greased up U-joints. Then welded the cat protection back up. Rear diff and transfer case oil looked pretty good, front diff pretty nasty.
Also a pic of the new bumper for S&Gs.

Installed Diode Dynamics Elite series fog lights. I thought I would try these after putting the SS3 in the 4runner and Tacoma. Not a bad install but a few things that irked me. Toyota that fog light bezel sucks and there is no room for an average hand in there to work. As far as the fog lights the adjustment screws are a pain in the ass to get to with a small screwdriver. An adjustment screw like factory would have been nice. Minor issues for what is hopefully much improved fogs.

Well honestly I can’t make up my mind with either painting it or going with the AJT Designs kit.

I hear ya. The SEM trim coating is alot cheaper. The AJT has the aggressive design. I actually just blacked out a set of factory climate control knobs to see how they look.

Yo, how didja get the clear plastic inserts out of the knobs? It’s the only reason mine aren’t black.

Toyota Tundra 14’-21’. Smoke lens, amber light.

Course, there are many types out there ranging from 3-5 lights or even on the grill like a Raptor style. I never seen 5 lights on the bulge hood, so I decided to do something different. I wanted the lens to be smoke, so I got them off of eBay. The original one that came with it was amber, too orange for me.

    upload_2022-10-8_12-0-41.jpg
So I swapped them out for the smoke finish which came out much better. Hope this helps.

If you look on the inside, there is the plastic piece on 3 plastic rivets. I used a pair of curved tweezers to get under it and pop it off. Once you go to put it back together, pop it back in. I used a soldering iron to remelt the pins. As far as removing them from the hvac controls, just follow the AJT video on their site.

Check the build link in my signature.
Working on my SSO hybrid bumper, and some more cleanup on the switch pro install and the wiring distribution. Changed out the remote winch power cut-off switch for one with a constant-power latching switch (instead of momentary latching). Now to start cutting apart my front bumper...

Which winch is that, SB Gen3? I’ve got that bumper coming and was wondering if the gen3 would work.

Yesterday I picked up the tire that was replaced due to a small screw in the middle of the tread. Warranty only will replace the tire. The Bill would have been $344 but I paid nothing. I’ll have to look at my tires more closely. Might find another screw.

No damages to the wheel either.
