Sorry if this has been brought up already, but this is 34 pages long lol....I have the Toyota tonneau on. It leaks more near the tail gate than any other cover I have had on other trucks. I bought a ESI tail gate seal and applied it. It is still getting water in. It seems that most of it is coming from where the tonneau lays on top of the tail gate. Is there any way to get this to get this to stop? I know people say "every tonneau cover is going to let some water get in," but that is just not true. I had the Undercover Flex on my 2019 F150 with no seals at all and that thing stayed boned dry.

Very happy with the truxedo Sentry CT. Fits perfectly and looks great.

The little foam pieces which are an addendum to install I didn't use. Use a little silicone instead, much easier and works perfectly.

Ah that's a huge bummer. I ordered one with my truck cause I was told in this forum that the OEM one was the same as the backflip MX4. What you are describing is more like the G2.

I wonder if the alignment is off? Has it gone back to the dealer to recheck installation?

I haven't gotten it yet. I think you meant to respond to who I responded to.

Did you play with the alignment a little or take it back to the installer if you didn't put it in yourself?
Might just need to slide forward a bit?

Yep...all I have been told is that same old thing: "no cover is going to completely keep all water out." smh

This cover doesn't make sense to me. It retracts into the bed. If you have stuff in the bed, it won't be able to retract, so you won't be able to retrieve your stuff. Unless you open the tailgate and crawl in there to pull it out the back.

Agreed. There was an initial "Oh wow. Cool." moment then followed by "uh wait a second...?"
Their site says the panels will hang down 10-11" on short beds. Tundras bed depth is 21".

buddy has it on his F150 and loves it. Like mentioned above, makes it useless if you have something "tall" under there and the panels cant fold down into the bed. I'd rather have a roll up

Installed the Sentry CT & Elevate rail combo last night. Cover was tight to close on one side, but loosened up after a day of driving. So far very happy, and @SantanaRealtruck gave me a great price with very fast shipping! Would highly recommend.

Yes, I use the cover to, well, cover stuff.
When the bed is empty it will work. When there is stuff in there it won't. It doesn't make sense to me.

This family trip for instance. There is no way it would have been able to operate.

RetraxPro XR installed…. Took about 2 hours to do everything right. Drilled the drain holes with a 5/8th drill bit… once halfway through I used reverse (my usual when drilling through metal)

I got the Lomax installed last Friday, ran through the carwash and nearly dry. Need to adjust a couple places where light gets through, but meets my expectations. It folds up easily and is light enough you can completely take it off if you need to put something longer and taller in the bed. Very happy with it.

    Thanks @SantanaRealtruck

Took my Sentry CT w/elevate rails through the carwash this morning and the bed was very dry. A few drops on passenger side wheel well, and of course a couple on the tailgate (I trained the seal to fold down, so I can close the tailgate after closing the cover). Didn’t take pics.
    Very happy so far!

I’m almost 99% sure the answer is yes to this but wanted to ask just to be careful.

I have a 2023 coming in the next few weeks, hopefully, when I put the truck info on real truck website, it says no covers for this truck, but if I back it up to the 2022, I get those.

Any of the ones for the 2022 should fit correct?

Also, I’m looking at just the standard gator SFX tri fold as I want to only have it on when I need it and remove.

How have these been holding up?

As far as I can find they added a new appearance package to the SR5 and that's it

I called roll n lock and they said the cover for 22 does not fit the 23. I didn’t ask what the difference was.

Got my Retrax Pro XR installed. It’s nice and looks good, but I liked the roll n lock on my previous tundras better. The retrax drops deeper into the bed and when open, it takes up more space. It does sit on top of the bed rails as opposed to the roll n lock which allows for taller items.

I agree, the Retrax does take up more bed space. I had a Roll n Lock on my last truck. Give the Retrax a little getting used to before you pass judgment. Even though it takes up more space, I think the quality and performance is 10 times better with Retrax. I really enjoy being able to lock the cover in any open position vs presets. I also really enjoy the handle opening and closing versus that damn strap that was always in the way. The only area I think Retrax doesn't compare is the open c-shaped track; the only thing that keeps water from dumping in the bed is installing with a slight angle. To me, that's just a dumb design.

I've had a Bak Revolver in my garage since I bought it during the labor day sale at real truck. Installed it this last weekend and I am not that impressed. It came with one broken corner cap, the piece that the cap clips into has a broken piece missing, and the fitment is horrible. I don't see how you can actually get a proper seal on the rear tailgate weather striping. I installed the bulkhead foam seal on the portion of the bulkhead closest to the bed and end up with a 1/2" gap still by the tailgate. I even readjusted everything just to see how far back it could go and with the front barely on the bulkhead and not covering all of the foam seal I still end up with a small gap. If it had one more aluminum slat in it then it would be perfect. I have a open warranty claim with Bak to get a new plastic corner cap and they had me send over measurements to see if the cover I received was built to spec. Other than these issues everything about the cover looks great...
