Hey y'all, I haven't gotten my tundra yet, my wife just asked if she could use a heated blanket on the bed outlet for camping. Anyone try this?

    Too many, but not enough....
What's the power draw of the blanket? What's the rating of the plug?

Yes, as long as it’s power draw isn’t too high but doesn’t the truck have to be running for that outlet to work?

I really hope it doesn't have to be actually running? I'm getting the hybrid, how does that system work?

pretty sure it does, or at least needs the key switched on for that to have power.

Truck has to be running to power the plug

I think if you want to power that blanket while camping with the truck off you may have to buy a Ford.

Get an inverter power pack. You can use it for lots of other stuff too
