Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

Strange that my dealership can’t even show what you’ve been helping other with that are in your region.

 

Dealers are useless.
They should be removed from the equation all together

 

I don't see why a middle man is needed. I know far about the vehicle I want than the person selling it to me. Why not buy manufacturer direct? Avoid the "market adjustments", pushy sales people etc.

Tell me what advantage they provide me? I only see negatives. Cut out the middle man and save me a few thousand

 

Well my wife and I snooped the 2 Denver area auto load rail yards. At the 2nd one (Brighton), we think we spotted our truck, which has been sitting there since July 11th. I don’t like that’s it’s been out there for nearly 3 months by now, plus however much longer, but what are you gonna do?

those have been cleared but it must be waiting on something else. Good things come to those who wait, right?

If we had needed a truck right away we would have bought a Sierra (3.0 Diesel) already, but as it is, we can. If it goes on another month or we probably will decide if it’s worth waiting any longer.

From what I unerstand, a QC hold doesn't have to be part of a campaign. It could be that there was a specific issue with your unit, or even sometimes they are pulled randomly for QC checks to ensure overall product quality level from the factory.

 

Thank you for the quick response. I did not find any recalls when I searched my VIN and it seemed odd to me to be in a QC hold while it was still being shipped. I think I get it now - just do not want my truck sitting for 'months' in QC hold like some of the others on this site.

 

Finally got my truck after waiting for a little over 7 months!

 

I can't wait to make the same post.....been waiting 10 months... Told she's coming next month though!
