Tundra 2022 truck order “Pending Fulfillment”

Ordered a 2022 Tundra Limited TRD long bed in Supersonic Red last February and have a question for the group. The truck is still showing “Pending Fulfillment” even though it got rolled over to a 2023 model in August. I live in Alberta Canada and the majority of the trucks I see are the common colours, white, grey, black etc. Did I choose a “Unicorn” truck that will never be built or do you think I’m getting the run around?
My dealer has offered me 2 different options that other deals didn’t go through at a much higher price than what I signed for the last one being a 1794 edition in a grey. Price was $25k more than what I signed.
I emailed Toyota Canada and they suggested I speak with my sales manager as they cannot comment. Not surprised by their answer, but who else can we speak to? When told you order a truck specifically and put a deposit only to be told you have allowed the dealer for an allocation instead and the truck is not assigned to you as I belongs still to dealer and they will see fit who and how much they sell it for.
Any advice would be great as I can see it will be almost a year before I may see a truck.

 

Someone on the forum said dealers in Canada are not allowed to add "market adjustments" like down in the US. But that doesn't mean they don't do their part in the shady practices.
Hopefully you will see the truck you "ordered" soon.

 

Not sure that "pending fulfillment" means f*ck all to be honest. To me that reads as though the dealer is still waiting for the allocation.

And you may very well be unicorn hunting. I have not seen any in person in that colour/config. To be honest I have only seen black, white and grey at my local dealership.
