Nah. I don't want to press. I'm being very patient in hopes that it'll be reciprocated. I plan to check with an in state dealership as well to see how it all compares. If it's the same price/deal then it's really hard to justify the 2400 mile trip down and back from TX.

Probably be cheaper w/gas, hotel and all to just pay for a transport; cost me right at $2k to have my Pro shipped from IA to OR...

 

I'd have to ship two ways and I only have one vehicle. 1200 miles on Tundra MPG and then 1200 on Tacoma MPG. If I average 15 mpg at $5 per gallon it'd be about $400 each way on fuel. Add at least 1 night in a hotel, likely 2 and i figure its about $1000 in just travel expenses.

The bigger "price" is the time it'll take. If the deal is good enough to compensate for those factors, then I'm down for a road trip.

So, true story…

Three of us are out of state on a dog buying trip… Small town, so everything rolls up at about 7-8pm especially in the winter. We get done testing/working dogs, drive back to the hotel 45min-1hr, clean all the kennel stuff (shit) off of us, get dressed, grab a quick bite to eat and then want to talk about the dogs we worked (and not at the hotel)…. The only place open is the strip club. It's a low key topless place w/low budget chicks (nothing wrong w/it cuz they try like hell and are generally a lot nicer); but generally girls that are heavier, older, c-section scars, etc… Seriously, we're just trying to get a few beers and talk about dogs!!!

Anyhow, on one particular trip, we've got a dude w/us that is married (we all are). However, again not judging, this dude and his wife have an open marriage; I mean he openly lets her sleep w/other dudes and will even help set it up, etc;and I know he's messed around w/other chicks... Anyhow, we're at the damn club, his phone rings, he answers it, it's his wife, she asks what we're up to, he tells her we're having beers at a topless place, and she loses her %$in' shit over it. WTFH??? Literally the poor guy is trying to get us to take him back to the hotel, which we're not doing until we're ready to leave… But, seriously, of all people who would have thought this chick would lose a head gasket over her man looking at a pair of boobs??

Ended up damn near ruining the rest of the trip for him, and his productivity was shit after that…. I just don't get it!!!

So, back to the point; never talk about it…. EVER!!!!

I didn’t actually go in, but the guy rooming with me had to wash his clothes after, and he loves strip clubs, but even he was grossed out

 

Why would I bring my own boobs (wife's) when I can just enjoy them at home for free?

 

Another great reason to drink at home!
