Grille Swap SR5 to TRD Sport/Off Road

I was wondering if anyone has done this grill swap yet. The dealer that I’m picking my truck up from quoted me $360(Toyota Clips and I do not get along)for the swap/reprogramming of the sensor but they haven’t done it yet themselves so just wanted to know if it’s plug and play like the TRD to the heritage grille. If anyone has any experience with this swap please let me know! Also if anyone’s wondering, I found the part on the Toyota parts website for less than $200

I have seen several people do this actually. It does look pretty straight forward, just a bit time consuming.

Yes, it's 100% plug and play. No need to re program any sensors either. It's in the exact same spot an all the grilles.
I think like 90% of the people on this forum have done grille swaps at this point lol.

Do not let any dealer tell you that it requires the reprogramming of anything. hahaha.

It's very simple to do yourself, but it is time consuming.

 

Appreciate the Info everyone! Actually ended up not needing to do it, got a call from a local dealer who dropped the mark up on the last day of the month to move inventory and picked up this lunar rock SR5 off road
