That's the reason no dealers see any of my cars. Screw these phonies.

2 cans of 700 is $38.80 (+ tax and shipping), comes with a long tube that sprays to the sides, it will do the entire frame. For external surfaces 1600 is better, since it thickens/hardens and protects frame from gravel and debris. Here I did wife's Sequoia recently if you are curious about DIY: Undercarriage Treatment?! I’m good on the external protection. POR-15 has served me well. I only got the Toyota treatment to treat the inside of the frame channels. Just my luck they didn’t do the job or do it well. I’d post pics of the carnage but that’s on my personal PC at home.

 

That reminded me something. Noxudol only stops external corrosion. If the metal rusts internally, like wife's new Volvo (the one built on Ford EUCD platform), Noxudol or any other rust treatment won't stop it. In that Volvo's case it was subframe welds that kept flaking off. I read somewhere Toyota had problems with metal quality used for frames fabrication. It will rust even in vacuum.

 

I thought you said it converted the internal rust in the frame channel to black oxide? Am I misunderstanding you?
