Stock 2005 Wheel Weight? 16x7

Hey guys,
I have been looking for a few hours now and cannot seem to find any info on what this stock wheel weighs exactly.

So that means the stock wheel and tire combination weight is roughly 57-60 pounds.
The 285/75R16 (32.8") Falken Wildpeaks weigh 61 pounds alone. Holy fak. Damn "E" Load 10 plys are beefed up.
Common Rim would be the 16x8 Methods which weigh 23 pounds.
That works out to roughly 23 more pounds to roll around per corner.

Lighter tire options: 285/75R16 (32.8")
Cooper Discoverer ATP 55 lbs
Nitto Terra Grappler 54 lbs
Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 55 lbs

Lighter Wheel Options: 16x8
Black Rhino Aliso 20 lbs
Motegi MR150 21.50 lbs
Raceline Aero HD 952BZ 22.75 lbs
Vision Flow 351 25 lbs

 

You could always look at going C load, 6 ply, for cost and weight savings ....

 

I wish they were more available but it looks like the 285/75R16 is mostly all "E" Load... at least on discount tire. I will keep looking around.

 

Yeah, I'm usually hitting Discount, then Tire Rack. I find discrepancies between the two (a lot). If you have Pep Boys, Walmart, Firestone, or NTB anywhere near you, sometimes I find surprising deals online when I'm hunting obscure shit. YMMV.

 

I currently have the 265/75R16 Wildpeaks (31.7") at 44lbs on my 3rd gen 4runner and they look great. Issue is they are "SL" 4 Ply which may not be the best when im filling the bed of my Tundra with fire wood.

I think I am thinking too hard about it. Bigger tires means bigger numbers. the 285/75R16 Wildpeaks are going to look sexy AF. The Tundra is still going to feel plenty powerful compared to my 4runner lol.

 

I dunno man, going too big on your rubbers can nudge you from haul ass to drag ass pretty quick.

But yeah, probably overthinking it.

 

Well my 4Runner got NO ASS! lol

If I can live with a 32" tire I can save 9 pounds while keeping the E load for hauling... might be the more realistic thing to do.
