Good morning. I have a 2022 double cab love it all black on black except for the rims are driving me crazy they came with stock Toyota silver 18 inch tires. Would you spend the money and get new rims or would you spend the money and powder coat it? Just wish they were black.

    Too many, but not enough....
Depends. Do you want bigger tires? Are you going to lift it? Any other plans of mods, especially to the suspension? Do you offroad?

Me personally, i think rims are the biggest waste of money as far as mods. But I do get the visual badass factor, it just doesnt make sense to me since you are the only person that doesnt get to see the rims when you drive.

What part of New York are you from? The price of powder coating around here is $125/$150 per wheel. If you plan on keeping those wheels yes, if you plan on getting new rims down the road then plasti dip them for around $50 total.

I'd wait until I find someone with the 20" black TRD wheels who decides to get aftermarket rims and sell their factory wheels/tires.

No off road just want to make a little more bad ass. And I like the rims just wish they were black. And even when the tires were out, I could get 20 inch that fit the rims instead of the 18 now.. Just trying to save money and spruce it up a little bit. What are your thoughts?

If you like the rims enough you can powder coat them, I think a better option would be to wait for someone with stock black take offs to sell them and you can snatch them up, it would look cleaner and there is a good chance they would come with another set of tires as well.

Very nice. That’s the look I’m looking for. What size tires are those? And what are you looking to get?. I’m in Staten Island New York.
