Hey everyone, I just joined this forum, I got my 2014 tundra just a couple weeks ago and I've got just a couple questions. When I get above the speed of about 50/55 there's a loud vibration, not quite constant but frequently in and out. Sounds almost like bass from speakers but its definitely not that. Also none of my four 12 volt outlets work (the cigarette lighter plugs). I tried changing multiple fuses and nothing has changed. Any advice?

    Too many, but not enough....
is the vibration in the steering wheel or the body of truck? Could be tire balance issue. the outlets should be a fuse issue, did they ever work?

    1) What kind of suspension components do you have installed? I see in your bio that you've got some sort of lift and some 35s tucked under there.

    2) There should be dedicated cigarette lighter fuses. Have you been able to locate them? If you have a blackout that's "almost" assuredly the issue.

Check tire wear, then check your drive train. Best bet is to also try to record the sound, if possible.

Might have too much of a carrier bearing drop also.

My guess was going to be that there isn't one at all, and should be!

Its definitely coming from under the truck, and also when I got the truck the outlet on the left side up front worked but that was it. Then one day it quit working. I also need new tie rod ends and after that an alignment so I was thinking that the vibration is possibly because of that.

It has a 7 inch pro comp lift on it, but I had to change out the front suspension with some rough country 6" lift struts. Other than the rough country struts the rest of the suspension front and back is the 7" pro comp lift. It was making the vibration before I changed the struts in the front though. From google I got different answers of what fuses to change, so I changed multiple with names like "CIG", "PWR NO 4", and "PWR NO 2". Still not working after changing those fuses. Also what do you mean by a "blackout"?

The tires are brand new so for sure not that, my dad said it could be something with the drive train, maybe transfer case, or a warped rotor.

Colton is speaking about having a carrier bearing drop kit installed so that your drivetrain stays in spec/alignment with OEM (makes the truck happy in other terms). It looks like you have more than 3" of lift? Are you able to verify?

Usually when you don't have enough carrier drop it shudders at low speed, too much and it does it at higher speed. Could be mistaken

Yes it is more than 3 inches, it has a 7 inch pro comp lift on it, except for the front struts. It was the OEM struts with a spacer on top, but the OEM struts were shot and the front was sagging a lot so I had to change those out for 6" rough country lift struts.

Take a pic of the drive shaft in the middle of the truck there is a junction with a round bearing

You definitely have a carrier drop, question is, is it the correct amount. Can you measure the spacers? I'm not as familiar with these types of lifts hopefully someone can chime in. For me with a 2.5 inch lift in the rear I have slightly over 1 inch drop on bearing and it's fine.
