    Well it took two attempts but finished today. For a truck that will be a high school kids truck with 206k , I think it cam out completely acceptable.

    It's not perfect and there's some dust nibs in it . But only one drip out of sight and looks tons better than it did

    Reassembled , minus the flares. May leave them off haven't decided yet

    I'd have to do something about the holes and bumps the flares mount on to leave them off.

    Other than that.

    Yea I'm trying to figure something out for that lol the reason I want to ditch them is because the flares are no longer produced, so if you break or damage one , good luck to you lol

    Its worth ditching it if it isnt made anymore.

    Cut off the tabs, fill / grind the small holes, sand until flat fender? Sad to consider right after the paint though.

    Yea good news is it will be my sons and he likes it as is , when he is done I may revisit but it will just be an errand , home depot and dump run truck for me. If I decide to though I could get 2wd front fenders (no flares) and then fill the rear somehow. May just put them back on until something happens then if.somethings does then ditch them lol
