What am i doing wrong here? Ive sent one unit back for replacement and now having issues with the replacement. Both my fog lights need to be adjusted but these nuts on the side wont tighten or loosen since initial install. Ive got these as tight as i can get them but the light still moves up and down with ease. And it wont let me loosen either. The inner lock nut on one side just spins when i try to tighten or loosen it.

They will move if you move them but won’t once mounted. I’d confirm the lock washer etc is in the correct spot.

Again, I think you’re fine. They do move when “you” move them. But when mounted they’re ok. I can go out and move mine and the bolts are tight lol mount them up and see how it goes

I understand but im unable to slide them back and forth now cuz the nuts wont tighten or loosen. One nut just spins in the bracket when i turn it with the allen wrench so im unable to remove either bracket or loosen to adjust back n forth. Ill check with DD tomorow
