hello everyone thanks for having me. Traded off my Nissan Titan pro 4x for my first Tundra. Picked up a new 2017 sr5 trd off road in mag grey. All stock for now until my dealer gets my parts in. Putting on the revtek level kit with 18x9 +20 fuel assaults wrapped in nitto trail grabbers. I Like a bit of an aggressive stance. Hope this combo gives it to me. I am a little worried I went with the wrong rims though. I'm up in the dirt hunting and camping often and I didn't realize the assaults design kinda sticks out further then the lip of the rim, at least that's what it looks like from pics I've seen. If anyone could clear that up for me I'd appreciate it. Anyway good to be here and have already been reading all day for two weeks. Lol.

    Welcome from TN!

Yeah, your wheels will stick out a little but not by much. You'll be golden!

I'd opt for a suspension lift though

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Yes Mike Idaho is awesome. Moved up here after I got out of the service as well. Love it.

On a side note. Just got back from the dealer. Going to switch out the fuel assaults for something else. I have a feeling I'll trash those rims in the first 3 months I have them. Trying to decide between 18's or 20's now.

Welcome from easter CO! I agree with @Law323, get a suspension lift instead of a leveling kit. Depending on what size tires you're running and where you'll be taking the new ride, I'd go with Bilstein 5100's or the Toytec Boss kit.

I'm sure I'll do the suspension lift at some point. The leveling kit was thrown in with my deal from the dealership so I wasn't about to pass it up.

Welcome GC. It's my opinion that 18s will give your wheel a little more protection when offroad. And, the tires are cheaper.

Wow lots of guys from CO. Want to take a trip out there sometime.
Matt.. I kinda feel the same way. Cheaper tires and I like a bit more rubber.

welcome from the noob farm.. I went to school at ISU and had a nice construction business in Pocatello for around 8 years.. Loved the mulies and the trout and I drew a few elk on salt creek and other places.. I arrived straight out of Fort Bragg in 87 and stayed until 95. Idaho is the place I miss most about this life..

Check out method or scs wheels. Good for off-roading and pretty rugged.

A level kit thrown in is a good deal, but if you hunt and fish as often as I do, those back roads and trails will get you worrying about a blown shock. I'd take those trails at a snails pace if you're dead set on that "dealership upgrade".

Ask me how I know LOL

Thanks for all the welcomes! Especially you Idaho peeps! Good to see some relatively close. I'm actually in Boise. Spend a lot of time up between challis and salmon though.

Law.. So how bout that story about blown shocks. Lol. I figure I may have a problem with them eventually. I just didn't want to turn down free. Gotta save up a few pennies for the suspension lift and beefier components.

Lmao!! @BlueFalconActual haha love it. Jodie.
