I had an aftermarket head unit put in but the owner before me had a jumble of wires clipped to power the stereo harness, and I would like to clean that up with a new electrical harness to power the heating / air unit which doesn't work now.
If possible I would like the harness to connect to the heating / ac unit (I think there are 4 - 5 connectors, but if it has other connectors, I can replace the existing harness for other electrical functions.

Lastly, where does that harness connect outside the firewall.
I went to the dealership parts department, but the guy was new, and he gave me a part number of 82286-0c070.

I have a great stereo in my truck now, but no heat or a/c!

Thank you in advance for any help!

Are you saying power to your AC controls was run through the radio? Replacing the radio caused the AC control to no longer work/ have power?

Hi Jeff. What I described poorly is that my climate control harness to the heating / AC got cut off when the stereo was put in... I'm trying to find the heating or ac harness or at least the connectors. The radio is fine.

This is the full wiring diagram for the AC/Heat Control Panel. Looks like the panel only has two connectors, I24 and I25. The picture below shows them along with a part number.

As far as a harness from Toyota, my assumption is that would be a very big job and not likely you can just buy a "AC control harness" I would think you might have to purchase an entire dash harness and remove most of the interior if you go this route. Do you have pictures if your actual damaged harness?
