TRD dual exhaust

Only the chrome part number is available.
Still no availability on the black tip part number.

 

Whats the difference between this and my garbage factory Pro exhaust? “Award Winning” or not, I don’t think either are going to get me through mud or sand a fraction of a second quicker.

 

I just want that piped in sound off, that crap sucks

 

Sorry but the only way a 6 banger (or 4) sounds good is if you can't hear it.If it aint a v8 than don't bother

It touches my rear folding step though

 

Could you take some more pictures of the rear folding steps and it touching the dual exhaust? Do you think those 2 components touching will damage one another in the long run?

 

Looks great!!! I'm wondering if the muffler does not change and the new TRD exhaust is just a resonator delete with dual tips. I can tell I'm getting older because I'm alright if that is it AND it's only $390. Can you post pics of your exhaust system before and after the swap?

I don’t think it do any major damage it taps it it doesn’t bother me

 

I was thinking of adding the carven cut and clamp

 

The carven replaces the whole cat back if I remember correctly. It was a bit raspy for my liking. My goal is to keep it mellow.

My 23’ limited came with this trd exhaust and it doesn’t sound obnoxious at all, about right for a v6 as we all know this will never sounds like the 5.7. It visually looks good as well

 

Honestly, I think mine is quiet and almost no difference in sound. Just my opinion.

I also turned off my fake ass V8 sound too. Lol.

Looks like there isn't. The TRD exhaust system for the 22+ is just a piece of pipe that has no resonator and dual tips. Ain't gonna lie, I'm on board with it. I love the tip style and with it being a TTV6, the stock muffler is fine. Someone had a good point on here that maybe they are already using a high flow muffler.

The tail section prior to tips had the resonator on stock tailpipe. None on the Trd Dual Tip System.
