Glad yours worked out. On mine, the template was wrong so I have an extra set of holes in the bed (they are covered by the mounting plate). And it tends to tilt away at the top even though I am loading the heavy stuff at the bottom with the bottom hinge looking like it is collapsing. I only got the drivers side - definitely not planning on adding the pax side.

Man, that front bumper looks awesome. I think I'm going with that one too down the road.

It really adds to a more aggressive look and makes the front grill appear not so gigantic! Yes. Get that front bumper. You'll be supporting a small business that makes their products 100% in the USA.

I still have to paint or wrap that chrome mustache. LOL

    None, yet
Does this impact the front cruise control and radar sensor or the parking sensors?

I don't think mine came with parking sensors, but my cruise control and radar work fine. The collision impact sensors are working. As long as they're plugged-in and zip tied (or taped) into place, then they work.

Nicely done on the Rotopax mounts! What is the thickness of the aluminum plates you used?

More chrome delete. Down to just the dumb door handles. Why Toyota went with chrome on any TRD OR option is beyond me… Their focus groups have GOT to be telling them that chrome (and silver) trim is god awful in 2022. Anyway… I installed body color mustache with my little helper and then plastidipped the window trim. At some point I’ll do the hybrid badge.

Yea I actually mention that in the video, my driver side template was correct but my passenger side wasn’t…thankfully I caught it before drilling holes…no issues with loading mine up, hopefully it stays that way cause I really do love em!

hybrid badge is a royal pain to tape off properly and due to its angle you essentially need to drape the entire front end and sides of the truck from overspray

probably cause most focus groups are NOT vehicle enthusiasts and are regular old joe's that think chrome is considered expensive.

I used 1/8" thick aluminum. Had em on for about 4k miles now and no issues so far. I may end up adding a 3rd tank on the other side if there's room behind the shovel and axe.

Has anyone here actually tried Carista on a 2022 Tundra? Their website only has the 2nd Gen listed as a supported vehicle.

Beauty, thanks! If the dealer won't disable all the seatbelt chimes, I'll go the Carista route.

Used it a few days ago. Was able to change some things that were annoying. You'll need to pay the 9.99 to upgrade and then cancel the subscription when you're finished. I gave mine to a buddy with a new TRD Pro when I was done with it.

Also changed the amount of times the turn signal blinks by just flicking the lever down. Stock is 3 times, I went to 5 since I'm pulling a camper across the country. It's kind of minimal what you can actually change with it. Just depends on how annoying things are and if you want to spend 40 bucks on the device then another 10 for the subscription. That's what unlocks the other little features. There's a post a few threads back that talks about it in a little more detail. That's how I heard about it.

Added these center caps last week and have had “Toyota people” at work and around town tell me how good the new TRD wheels look… I agree, they look great! Ha

Added some color to my pro grille. Thoughts on the red TRD decals? Had these on my limited grille before changing it. Brought some of the color from the rear trd offroad decals to the front.

I purchased a Carista and changed some things on my Limited. Dealer wanted up to a $160 to turn on the "roll down the windows" with the FOB. Ridiculous... Carista let me change that. Turned off the "enhanced engine noise." I didn't mind it but I felt it didn't match up well with the actual RPM's of the truck sometimes. Changed my turn signal to 6 vs the 3 when tapping it. After shipping the Carista was about $41 and I will cancel the subscription before it renews. Much better than $160 from the dealer.

It works on the Gen 3's as well as others have confirmed also. Might not have any "live" features currently but you can definitely customize some of the things. Also, ordered from their website which takes you to ECS tuning.

Like others have said just order it for a Toyota Tundra it will work (don’t worry about the year). I ordered mine directly from the website and works perfectly. Like most turned off pesky chimes for the seatbelts for each seat, window roll down, turn signal number & forgot what else. Neat little thing for $40! Don’t know why it will allow the windows to roll down with fob, but no option for rolling them up with the fob (can do both with key into keyhole). Should be able to do both to me using Just the fob…,.:notsure:
