I drove a used Platinum non hybrid with the 6.5' bed. It was quick. I can't wait to try a hybrid. I recently saw my first Pro and it looked great but I think I would make the same choice and go with a Platinum that I could mod and stay below the Pros price. I put a deposit down in June. The wait continues.

TBH, I'm not even tall and feel like I could use the thigh extensions.

I'm not tall either (5'10) but I don't think I can ever own a vehicle without the thigh extender now.

What does the thigh extender looks like? I think i might have on my 1794 2020 if we are talking about the same thing.

Wanted the PRO, or a Platinum with the OR package - couldn't find either. Settled for a 1794 w/o the offroad package... Now I live in de-chrome hell for a few months. Hold for the PRO esp if you're on the list!

Would have to get VIN and miles and condition to be able to tell that. Also depends on the market where you live, I will say that used vehicle prices at auction are falling in the past week. JD Power (NADA) value is still up but Black Book has fell quite a bit recently. I have seen gaps in values between both books at almost $5K which just shows that NADA hasnt caught up but the decline is coming in values. Seems the higher priced vehicles are falling the fastest from what Im seeing.

Love what you did with your truck! I am looking to get a Platinum and "improve it" as you did. What size tires are you running?

I have a 1794 TRD OR hybrid in army green with a 6.5’ bed. I can tell you this is the best of both worlds. Having driven both, it’s hard to get behind the pro for any reason other than bragging rights. Fake leather, etc. I’m good. The 1794 configured accordingly is awesome

Do you like the longer bed? I have a 2017 Platinum that I upgraded with all the TRD Pro parts, but I have been thinking about getting a 2023 hybrid Platinum and upgrading it. I have been really debating about getting the longer bed so I am curious as to your thoughts.

I honestly had no idea it was a 6.5’ until after I put the deposit down. With that said, I would have bought it anyway. I like the long bed much better. I definitely notice it feels more like a land yacht turning around in thought spaces etc. but it doesn’t bother me. It looks more proportioned too.
