My SA just called me by saying someone ahead failed to fulfill his order and the truck is same spec as mine, so asked me if I'm interested in taking it

The trade-off is I have to take all accessories and packages "that guy" originally had in "his" order, such as below, valued at 5-6k CDN more:

hard tonneau cover/some molding/6 year oil change + tire caring

With few seconds of thinking, I said .... YES

Even though those accessories are useless to me and I'm quite aware of its actual market value, I convinced myself by

"if I'm stick with my original order, probably I will be taking the 2023 MSRP (which isn't released in Canada yet). Then if 2023 MSPR boosts up by 3-4k, then I will be paying almost the same but getting nothing at the end."

Can't wait for the upcoming Friday now

I can kinda see them saying you have to take any already installed accessories but forcing service packages on you is BS. I mean, I believe in capitalism and they have the right to do that, but we have a right to refuse to buy it.

Sounds like it was a good move for you though, hope you enjoy the new whip!

yea... service topped off is totally BS, and i even doubt about the tonneau cover was originally sitting on the bill of sales... but since there're way more ppl lining after me who's willing to pay for it....
