Serviced the rear differential. Had 30k miles on the truck. Was kinda nasty. Glad I went through with it. Put in Ravenol 75w-85 LS. Gonna do the front and transfer case at a later date.

 

So killer. That whine just makes me smile.

 

Got my aluminum TracRac rack cerakoted black. I love how it turned out. My guy sandblasted all the old scratches out and even blasted and coated the plastic pieces and the rack accessories.

My wife backed our bike rack into a rock with her 4Runner. I put it on the Tundra and one of the front trays was busted. I used some duct tape and reattached it. I had the roll of duct tape on my bumper because the lift gate was up. Seemed like a logical place to put it until I dropped the lift gate and sat on it.

I have a perfectly round dent in my lift gate. I was sad but I'm over it. Live and learn. I won't do that again.

 

Bumper build almost finished. Welded high clearance tubes with foglight mounts to the Victory 4x4 Blitz bumper. Made and painted plexiglass inserts. Still got a few things to finish up, and she’ll be done.

 

Looks great. How are you going to get your hand in there to work the winch?

 

what bumper is that? Can you run the parking sensors with it?

Relocated my power steering cooler and upgraded the unit. Then installed my Engo winch, custom fairlead, and Factor 55 Prolink.

It’s a Coastal Offroad bumper. It’s a DIY weld together kit. They do have an option for parking sensors where it comes predrilled with holes.

 

Does your truck not have a factory trans cooler?

 

Finally did a Body Mount Chop.


Tires are 295/70/r18, and it did rub on full lock when in reverse. Now, no more rubbing. Glad to also install a pair of TuffSkinz mud flap.


Paint Protection Film: 1/4 of hood, full coverage of hood bulge, grill, bumper caps, head lights and front fender extension.


Film gives it a gloss finish. Protects paint from rock chips, and scratches. Bug wipe down is much easier. Very happy with this investment.

Took Rotundra out for a little beach time yesterday. Hurricane is coming so weather was not so great.

 

No unfortunately it doesn’t. It’s a 4.6. That’s on my list to add as well, just have to order the parts.

 

Got the truck undercoated with WoolWax today. Underneath, bottom of the door jams and engine bay for $185. Couldn’t beat it.

 

Finished up my big “recovery” mods. Got the winch on, finally a fairlead that fit right, recovery points, and some recovery straps and shackles.

 

Finally put my Prinsu on. Took about 5 hours, but went MOSTLY smooth. Had one plus nut issue, but we fixed it. Not the greatest picture, will get better ones soon.

What color is the plastic bezel on the Meso-custom LED map light? Their website says tan but on their site it looks light gray to me (my interior is gray).

 

My interior is grey and the meso stuff matches perfectly.
