I think those are called 'stick batteries' but maybe that's just colloquial.

Size makes it look like it would be a string of CR123A battery. But maybe it's skinnier and actually a CR2? Can't be a 21 or 23 battery, those are 12v and I can't think of how you'd net 4.8 out of 4 in a row.

You should try and find a NI-MH replacement.

The 16570 is Li-Ion and requires a special charger. NiMh would be a better choice. There are several sites that list various sizes. This one lets you specify size in inches to narrow down what you need.

His old battery is ni-cd. Which is why I recommended looking for ni-mh.

Edited my above post, maybe its 16560 cells?

Yup. That wall behind the HVAC, there's a 2-1/4 car garage on the other side. And a double driveway behind that with a deck overhead to give some sun/precipitation relief. Doesn't do anything to ward off the damn mosquitoes though!

Oh, man! Mosquitos are waaaaaay evil here too. I’m not a sun goddess so I typically hold driveway tasks til the magic hours before and after sundown— and these days, they eat me alive.

    Mosquito Magnet?

Either that or a zapper and some citronella torches around the deck or patio.

Yes, I can sometimes fend them off with those interventions if I’m sitting on the patio. But if we’re in the pool or working doing something, not stationary, they eat us. They’re black and tiny and fast, and… I cannot explain how it is possible… have even bitten me on my thighs while I was wearing jeans. I pretty much have to douse myself in Deet in addition to full-body clothing, to avoid. We have have huge welts after any evening project.

It’s not a leap to anticipate that our next pandemic will be some vector-driven disease. My immunity to most ailments seems good, but mosquitos have me at the top of a favourite foods list. Hate ‘em.

I'm a mosquito magnet too, it's horrible. I sleep with a fan and zapper.

They sound like gnats/black flies. I’ve seen them hovering over our outdoor pool at dusk under the light when I was a teenager so I may know what you mean.

These are probably the guys Sunny is talking about. They're an invasive mosquito around here and I get them too.

Yup, we're in the same boat. Everyone likes to hang out at campfires with me because they know I'm a mosquito magnet and they won't get bit.

This stuff is freaking amazing, a little dot goes a long way and it actually moisturizes too. It just sucks because DEET makes my skin feel like it's on fire, so I'm trading itching for burning, and there are way-more-fun things you can do to get itching and burning sensations.

Bet your fried pickles if I miss a spot the size of a quarter anywhere on my body, they'll find and bite it, though.

I've had pretty good luck with the 3m ultrathon lotion. I spray the front and back for mosquitos every 3 weeks or so during peak season, cuts way down. Also use a thermacell sometimes.

I forgot to remove the bulb for my inspection to take the light off the dash.. am I better off just getting the light off my dash this way vs really digging into the issue? Honestly tracing the electrical aspects is beyond me and the free time that I get with family. Rarely does the family ride in the AC, and passenger bag is off when my kids in the seat

Pretty sure it's a robber fly. I don't think they bite humans, but they sure look violent.

I mean, if your inspection hooks up to the OBDII port, they'll see the code. The light is more there for you than them. But your state may vary.

I can’t like your post. But I think you’re right. Except the ones at my house this year and last year or black, not that brown colour.
