So I just did the Touch Trace thing with CSX and the system told me that there was "no status available" for my railcar BNSF/693278. Does anyone know what this means? Or could it possibly mean it's been dropped off at Port to get on a truck?

My truck arrived at the dealership today. I was surprised they got it on a truck so quickly.

 

This makes me a sad Panda... nothing like having to share a car and somehow manage to get to work and to physical therapy 3x a week. Crazy how backed up Selkirk is if that is the case.

If you know you’re vehicle is close, try to get a pre-approval loan. That way you get a blank check that is good for up to your approved amount and the check is good for 90 days. Once you get approved, you’re rate is locked in even if it’s two plus months before you use the check to purchase.

Yeah I thought it was weird as well. Oh well....

 

That's exactly what I did. My paperwork, loan included, was done 3 weeks ago. The dealership is holding my check until the next business day after truck arrives.

 

Part of my deal was that I had to finance it but the loan has no pre-payment penalty so it gets paid off on the 2nd loan payment. I'm in Az and the allocation
is going to a dealer in Utah.
