Looks good. What was wrapped versus replaced to eliminate the chrome? Any tips?

    30 inch rims?

Hard pressed you’ll find anyone on here that would ever do that.

Wrapped was the grill mustache, rear bumper arms with satin black. Replaced the window trim with the matte black. Wrapped the door handles with gloss black but took it out and ended up getting those ebay covers (will try those out for now). Bought the OEM black emblem overlays, plastidip the front Toyota symbol.
Replacing the window trim was easier than I thought, pop the clips for horizontal trims by the B pillar from the bottom then push forward while pulling up, do the same along the trim by pushing forward while pulling up. As for the vertical trim, pop the 3 clips first then slowly lift from window side first to remove the double sided tape or use a string to separate it from the panel. Paid somebody to wrapped the grill mustache but I did the rest.

Appreciate the details. I plan to get rid of this chrome stuff asap. Never had to deal with this with Tacomas.

I'm looking to fit some +35 offset method 705s on 35" tires. Anyone have any knowledge if +35 will cause some rubbing? I'm currently rubbing a bit on 0 Offset RRW Wheels.

Thanks EliDirtTundra. Finally a Smoked Mesquite! Very nice! I'm waiting on a 1794 SM TRD myself. Thanks to your post I may do away with the chrome around the windows. I plan to leave the lower door trim as is. Can you post a pic of your wrapped mustache? For now I'm planning to have mine painted. I'm going with the same tires but 295/60R20. I'm definitely putting the cart before the horse when it comes to buying parts for truck I don't have yet.

    Sorry, it's been a week.
Correct. Stock TRD Pro with the Wildpeaks (285/65 18).
No lift or leveling kit. I've considered it, but I'm just not sure I want to. Mileage hasn't suffered either. The tires are about 1"wider than the Michelin's were.

I was looking for a similar setup. Either 17s or 18s. I searched but didn't see anyone with that exact setup here.

Truck looks great! I'm in the process of a chrome delete on my Limited. Have you noticed an impact on your mileage with those tires?

    - Venom Power Trail Hunter R/T 37X12.50R20 tires.

Will eventually switch over to 18X8.5 wheels and 37X12.50R18 by the end of the year once the tires I want become available.

It’s not the best picture of a tire and wheel combo, but it is a great picture of a tire and wheel combo next to Crater Lake National Park

That is a really nice setup. I running BFG KO2s on my '16 Limited TRD. I like the way 18s look but I'm going to give some 20" Fuels +20 a try. I would put the same tires on my 3rd gen but I can't get raised white letters in anything other that 18" unless I go mud terrain. Did you have to do anything to wheel well?

    FREEDOMcomesatacost,
You wouldn't happen to have the part numbers for those camo flares would you? With the lights I assume they are wider than the standard flares on a 1794. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. We know what happens when you "assume."

I haven’t driven it yet but I don’t anticipate having to trim with the suspension setup I am running. Yeah the other side of these KO2 are raised white. I just couldn’t talk myself into it.

No worries. I waited as long as could before I started buying parts for a truck I don't have nor have a build date for. The best the dealer can tell me is 2-4 months more. If you come across it I would appreciate it. My wallet nor my wife will appreciate it, but I will be in your debt.

I feel your pain like many others on here. The wait and frustration that goes with it is real!! I ended up with a model I didn’t even want, now love it, but after months and months of waiting like you I just took the first one they finally got in. Good luck my man………..:fingerscrossed:

Yeah I get it with the raised white letters. They are an acquired taste. I don't think they would have looked all that great with the Smoked Mesquite that I have on order. They KO2s are good tires though. I am on my 2nd set.
