Did you see these also from AFE? Wonder how they would work with your air intakes? Yea I confirmed with Burger theirs will be open element type dual air intakes. Will have regular colored filters or choices of red or blue. I wanted the red to go with my truck, but like I said you got me curious now with the AFE kits!!!

I know some say my truck has too many lights installed (pic a few pages back), and others like me in the group of can’t have too many. However, ran across this Beast. Too many??:ohsnap:

Today I installed my c4 fabrication rear bumper! It was definitely way easier than the front. Now I need to order some baja designs s2’s5FA613B9-8152-4BF8-99E1-F178E6E03C62.jpg 465530DA-C063-452C-99A6-548A6A748054.jpg

How long did it take? Mine has been siting in the yard for months now. The front took sooo long I have been scared to tackle the rear.

It took about 4 hours with a nice lunch break in between lol I felt the same way, I was dreading it but it honestly wasn't too bad. It was a lot easier than the front for sure.

    Thanks

My DIY install days are over for me because work has been keeping me busy so I just pay someone else to do them for me. I think I've done enough wrenching in my lifetime. LOL. Okay. Okay. I did install the skid plates and JB4 Tuner on my own. But that was it.

Got the ICON Stage 6 suspension installed over the weekend and today I got rid of the cloth interior and replaced it with Alea Leather with contrast stitching. Next it to get rid of the chrome mustache grill trim and color match it. I'll do that before the week is over.

I'll redo the wheels for 18X8.5 0-offset instead of the 20X9 0-offset I have now. I'm waiting on a 37X12.50R18 tire from Venom Power, then I'll switch over to 18' wheels.

Glad yours worked out. On mine, the template was wrong so I have an extra set of holes in the bed (they are covered by the mounting plate). And it tends to tilt away at the top even though I am loading the heavy stuff at the bottom with the bottom hinge looking like it is collapsing. I only got the drivers side - definitely not planning on adding the pax side.

It really adds to a more aggressive look and makes the front grill appear not so gigantic! Yes. Get that front bumper. You'll be supporting a small business that makes their products 100% in the USA.

I still have to paint or wrap that chrome mustache. LOL

    None, yet
Does this impact the front cruise control and radar sensor or the parking sensors?

I don't think mine came with parking sensors, but my cruise control and radar work fine. The collision impact sensors are working. As long as they're plugged-in and zip tied (or taped) into place, then they work.

Nicely done on the Rotopax mounts! What is the thickness of the aluminum plates you used?

More chrome delete. Down to just the dumb door handles. Why Toyota went with chrome on any TRD OR option is beyond me… Their focus groups have GOT to be telling them that chrome (and silver) trim is god awful in 2022. Anyway… I installed body color mustache with my little helper and then plastidipped the window trim. At some point I’ll do the hybrid badge.

A lot. See my channel for all installs/mods!
Yea I actually mention that in the video, my driver side template was correct but my passenger side wasn’t…thankfully I caught it before drilling holes…no issues with loading mine up, hopefully it stays that way cause I really do love em!

hybrid badge is a royal pain to tape off properly and due to its angle you essentially need to drape the entire front end and sides of the truck from overspray

probably cause most focus groups are NOT vehicle enthusiasts and are regular old joe's that think chrome is considered expensive.

    Lots of DIY stuff
I used 1/8" thick aluminum. Had em on for about 4k miles now and no issues so far. I may end up adding a 3rd tank on the other side if there's room behind the shovel and axe.

Has anyone here actually tried Carista on a 2022 Tundra? Their website only has the 2nd Gen listed as a supported vehicle.
