Damn! I was told end of month delivery and it’s not even built?

 

They got one part right in the name...Surprise.

I have customers coming in all the time saying "this dealer took my deposit and said it will be here in a month". All lies, I dont understand why they just arent honest with them about the possible time frame and that at then end of the day, we have NO IDEA when or if your order will come in. When I tell a customer that unfortunately they were lied to about when they will get their vehicle they just think Im trying to make the other dealer look bad in order to sell a car myself. I always end it the same way..."Its fine, dont buy mine. Im ok with that but I will call you in 30 days and see if you have seen your ordered vehicle yet and then youll know which dealer was being honest with you"

Just got word today that my hybrid Platinum has been placed on a 30day QC hold with no ETA.

 

Fingers crossed they work things out with the railroad workers and we don't get delays from railroad strikes too.

My dealer is saying that my Truck won’t be here until 10/18… it doesn’t make sense based on the last location… can you see if there was a change?

You will probably be lucky to see it by then to be honest. Its not scheduled to arrive at the railyard until tomorrow then you have the whole issue of it getting unloaded then loaded onto a truck and actually sent out. Too many employee shortages across the board right now to have them moving as quickly as they once were.

 

Just signed paperwork on this one yesterday! Was told by the dealership that I may see it before the end of the month. Would you be so kind to check it’s status for me?
