Just installed the first hybrid cat plate! Had it matched as close as we could to the white Pearl of this capstone! Fit great!

 

Just curious if you have a shipping timeframe for order R345866092.

 

The painted plates sure look pretty but I thought I’d take a few photos of my bare aluminum ones. I did install them with the penta head bolts and only 3 cone protection. The 3 cone protection washers rusted, but the aluminum plates look good to me. I was curious to see if anyone tried to work the penta bolts or whatever. I don’t think anyone has bothered my truck in the year and 3 months they’ve been on. They have been a peace of mind. I leave my truck outside all the time on my driveway so far. I hope to get it in the garage for this fall.

 

So, @Classy63 Tyler, do you have any plans to expand into the world of Tacoma protection? 4Runners?

 

I actually do, it is a complicated plate… it would fit a lot of vehicles, but needs special stuff to fit each. I have a proto type made to fit a 4x4 Tacoma with a pro plate. I want to test it on a bunch of different vehicles before I release it to production

This set of plates is definitely serving a purpose, this will be the 3rd truck they have kept the cats safe on. Excellent product even if they are OG's, looking forward to receiving the front skid.

 

I should also ask, do you offer plates in aluminum, or only steel? I've not checked your site.

I ordered a set Of a 1/4 inch aluminum bare for my 21 TRD pro two days ago. I work at a dealership in in the area and thefts seem to be on the rise. Dirtbags hit our wholesale lot couple weeks back and was chatting with the police. These guys are making their way around dealerships, commuter lots even hitting cars at the mall. . A little late on this but I didn't bother with angled spacers.
I just used the nut plate..

Made sure the skid plate bolts were tight when I did the vert plate.
Still as tight as when I fist installed it..

 

i actually pm’d Tyler about this and he said he has not been using them either.

 

I'm glad you told me that, I was second-guessing my decision..
The nut plate was so rigid I didn't even consider using the wedges..

I am getting your plates delivered to me this week, they will likely ship next week.

 

I have a set of 1/8 steel bare cat plates (07-21 front and rear cat plates). That have some rust and they sat outside in the dirt and mud if someone would like to get some plates sooner than later

 

@Classy63 I would be interested in this! I ordered 3/16th bare steel (R287567813) not sure if you would adjust the difference?

Im grateful my plates arrived and did my install two weeks ago.

 

These get lost in the cracks as they are usually tied to an order. I am making a note and this will ship Monday
