I'm about to install fender flares soon. What type/brand of paint protection is suggested? (I don't want to get yelled at on here for not doing it ;))

Was at the local dealer yesterday and got me an oil change under Toyotacare.... There was a '22 TRD PRO that was just prepped for delivery all shiny in that orange/red color.... looked nice. The thing that stood out to me was itcame with all season tires (yuk) and that the bed is like 5' Now my CM has a 5.5"bed which to me is short but this is a 5' bed and really looks weird. I do like most of the styling touches they did but I don't like the "decorative" etched design on the seats and the fender flares etc. looks cheesy to me...just my opinion.

It sold for $10K over list.

Went to a local tire shop to get an alignment, as there's some uneven wear on the front left. They told me they couldn't get their machine to attach to the wheels due to the lack of space between the tire and wheel. They said go to the shop down the road. I guess they don't want my business? Has anyone heard of an alignment machine not being able to attach to a wheel? The wheel is the standard 20", the tire is a Nitto Terra Grappler G2 - LT265/60R20 that the PO fitted. Factory size is P275/55R20.

They are idiots! I would let the dealer align it or go to another shop.

agreed, standard equipment can align that setup so they should take down a sign advertising alignments

If they are using these [IMG], I've seen where they have difficulty keeping them between the wheel/tire. They could be just being lazy for sure, but it doesn't look like there's a whole lot of room on yours.

I may be beginning a bit of a saga here. The new battery ‘helped’ for about a day. Old one was running on borrowed time anyway so it wasn’t exactly wasted money. Anyway, those same warnings came back about 20 hours later on the drive home from work. Today I inspected and cleaned all of the abs/speed sensors in hopes that maybe a smoking gun was obvious. Didn’t seem like they were in bad shape but they do seem like incredibly cheap little units. The price disparity between the TOYOTA QUALITY ASSURED sensors and the generic branded units is crazy. $170per vs $20per. Thankfully this isn’t a limp mode situation so I can troubleshoot one thing at a time.

Installed the ARB breather for the rear diff. Glad I did, as soon as I released the OEM breather valve that was on the diff it let out a short but strong puff of air. Not sure if that's normal...but that thing wasn't letting any air in or out. Now to transition from mods to maintenance and check/replace the fluid.

Nice ...and cheaper than Jomax. Looking at both instructions, Jomax recommends loctite while the TRD say to use anti-seize.

How was the fitment ? ...any problems while installing ?

    Thanks for link.

Nope no issues. Use some pb blaster to remove the old hardware and don’t over tighten the new aluminum hardware

Wow these are really nice. I wish they were not so expensive. I broke one sensor off completely while out playing around and had to drive to local auto part store to replace it. It cost under $100 and was easy to swap so idk if $200 guards are worth it imho.

Has anyone ever used AC condenser coil cleaner (like you use on your outdoor AC condenser at home to clean the coils of any dirt or grime build up) on the radiator/condenser on the front of our trucks?

Ride still feels like factory, that's why I usually dont do suspension lifts, it's only gonna see bigger tires and some dirt roads. New tire size is 305/65/18
