I owned a 21' Celebrity for years, absolutely incredible boats. Good luck with both.

I looked that boat up. Seems like a clean one is a pretty good deal! Interested in how it treats you.

The bolts can be removed and replaced. There is a company that sells black ones.

I bought black stainless nickel plated button head bolts off eBay. They have sets to replace fender flair bolts.

Pre-Collision System fail, Trailer Brake fail, ABS fail, and Traction Control fail all at once. Time for a new battery!

That said, have any of you people done an engine bay cleaning? It seem that this truck’s engine bay gets filthy easier than any other vehicle I’ve had. I can get Simple Green pretty much on tap at work so I figure covering that electronic stuff and getting after it is the best option.

I just used some de-greaser paint prep spray after using some soap and water. I just used shop towels and wiped down the surfaces I cared about. Maybe dilute the simple green some and you should have no problems, plus it will smell nice and probably push that scent into the cab even if its initially a bit strong lol

My parents had the 21' version when i was in high school so I'm very familiar with the boat. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it is fantastic. It was very well taken care of. It runs great.

RCI plates + cat guards, went with the powder coated aluminum. Quality stuff and the holes for the cat guards now come pre drilled.

Attempted to change my oil. Truck just hit 30k and has only had the dealer change the oil to this point. Low and behold Mongo put the filter housing on with what appears to be a 3/4 drive impact wrench. Geez this thing is tight! Currently just have a 64mm filter socket but ordered the MotivX tool from Amazon. I’m having said dealer take the filter housing off first thing in the morning so the liability is on them if they break anything. Also going to replace the plastic housing with the aluminum version. What a pain!

Smart move... I'd do the same!!!!

It's almost starting to look like this crap is being done intentionally broad spectrum. Toyota needs to clean up the service being provided by dealerships!

They even over torqued the hardware for the access window on my RCI skid plate! I understand it’s the junior employees doing these type of services but they either need better training, more supervision or both. Until then I’ll just change it myself like most members here do and recommend.

They are awesome, only thing I regret is not getting the power fold but not necessary. Plus it was an extra 200 or 300 bucks.

I don’t have powerfold to begin with so that wouldn’t be an issue for me

I am on a TRD Pro Fox Suspension with the TRD Pro Lift Kit by Coachbuilder. (3" front, 1.75" rear) The TRD Pro Lift Kit by Coachbuilder technically only clears 11.5" / 11.7" wide tires without rubbing on the front wheel liner or the body mount (Coachbuilder explains this in the kit description). If you use 12.5" wide tires like I did, you may see rubbing on the front wheel liner in reverse. I did, so I spray painted the liner white so I can accurately see where the rubbing was occurring, then I will use a heat gun to push the rubbing areas back, and finally spray the liner back to black. Even with the 12.5" wide tires though, I still have no rubbing, forward or reverse, on the body mount. I also had to remove the front air-dam flaps and the front mud flaps.

    I hope this helps.

They are one of the few companies that provide the harnesses to give you power folding mirrors if your stock set up didn't have it (if you select that option). They are very customizable and so far have a very good reputation.

I've used Simple Green for many years to clean my engine bay. I've been slacking a bit on the Tundra, but my Taco was immaculate for it's age. I use full strength or 50/50. Spray on, let sit without drying, hose off. I don't cover anything. Maybe clean and grease battery terminals after, but Taco never minded either way.

A wireless charger was one thing that I was upset about missing in my 2020, especially with that perfect slot in the center console. I went the lazy route because I didn't want to begin messing with electrical and just got this.

    https://www.amazon.ca/CarQiWireless-Wireless-Organizer-2014-2020-Accessories/dp/B09NW2KY3H?crid=3FQ6QZ7PH6ML6&keywords=tundra+console+organizer+wireless+charger&qid=1663894079&sprefix=tundra+console+organizer+wireless+charge%2Caps%2C115&sr=8-2

    Works great.
