In a few weeks I'm converging on Moab with some folks from all around the region and I'm trying to find a place to park one vehicle for like Thursday through Saturday. The person in that vehicle is going to park and ride with me for that leg of the trip.

Any suggestions? We aren't really worried about security/theft. It's an average car and we won't be leaving anything valuable behind. Mostly just want to be sure we don't get towed or otherwise bother someone.

You know it! One of the groups will be in their rubicon wrangler and idk about the other. Gonna start in Moab and make our way over to Zion, etc. Definitely want to spend some time at canyonlands and capitol reef.

    Nice! Thank you.

I’m open to suggestions! I haven’t made any plans yet. I’m trying to figure out where we went last year. It was kind of northwest of arches. We probably got on the trail from the 191. It was fun. Pretty tough but not too bad. Grippin the hell outa that steering wheel no doubt. After the off-roading section we ended up on a windy gravel road that went into arches from the north (main entrance is south I think).

We did a lot more camping and hanging in the area but that was the only legit off-roading we did. I’ll be more prepared this year so give me some suggestions!

if you feel like rallying up with us lmk and we can prob figure something out.

If yall are going to go through capitol reef there's a bunch of trails in San rafeal swell (capitol reef area) that are cool. How hard are yall going with it ?

If yall don't want to get too crazy , reds canyon, swazeys cabin, hidden splendor, north/south fork coal wash, eagle canyon are all pretty cool to name a few. Abundance of blm camping in the area . As far as purely scenic overland type stuff, there's cathedral valley loop (60 plus miles) that goes in and out.of capitol reef NP , and has stunning rock formations on it. It's is not technical in anyway , other than the river crossing to get in which should be low this time of year, and offers plenty of awes9me photography opportunities.
